Physical speciation of polychlorinated biphenyls in the aquatic environment

Based on literature and our own experience, we describe the topics relevant to physical speciation of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in the aquatic environment, including basic issues dealing with the environmental fate of these compounds and analytical studies of physical speciation.
