Synthesis, characterization, and magnetic properties of heterometallic trinuclear complex with Sb(III) and Ho(III)

► A new 3D heterometallic trinuclear antimony-holmium complex has been synthesized. ► The Sb ion forms four five-membered chelate rings from one edta4− ligand. ► The bridging carboxylate groups connect with Ho and Sb ions forming a 2D heterometallic network. ► Magnetic properties of the heterometallic Sb-Ho compound are studied.
