The influence of halogens on the electronic system of biologically important ligands: spectroscopic study of halogenobenzoic acids, halogenobenzoates and 5-halogenouracils

The influence of halogens (F → Cl → Br → I) on the electronic structure of benzoic acid and uracil was investigated. Moreover, the effect of metals on the electronic charge distribution in halogenobenzoates was studied. Different spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, FT-Raman, NMR, FT-IR Ar matrix) were used.
