New trimetallic sandwich complexes of platinum(0) and palladium(0)

► Organometallic triplatinum sandwich complexes are prepared. ► A series of ligand substitutions were crystallographically characterized. ► Platinum NMR demonstrated a systematic shift upon substitution. ► Mixed-metal palladium-platinum complexes were also synthesized.
