Synthesis and characterization of novel photosensitive polysulfones with photocrosslinkable side pendants

► Two novel polysulfones containing photocrosslinkable side units were successfully synthesized. ► Polysulfone with chalcone side units demonstrates a high photocrosslinking ratio up to 78.5%. ► Photocrosslinking improves chemical resistance, thermal, and mechanical properties of photosensitive polysulfones.
