Ruthenium indenylidene complexes containing dichalcogenoimidodiphosphinate ligands

► A series of ruthenium indenylidene complexes with dichalcogenoimidodiphosphinate ligands were synthesized. ► The synthesized complexes were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques and X-ray crystallography. ► Compound with mixed sulfur-selenium donor ligand was found to be a mixture of two isomers. ► The synthesized complexes showed moderate to high catalytic activity for RCM reaction of diethyl diallylmalonate.
