FT-IR, FT-Raman and fluorescence studies of Tb3+ ions activated lead containing sodium fluoroborate glasses

► In this study we prepared LCZSFB glasses doped with Tb3+ ions. ► Glasses are characterized with DSC, absorption, emission and lifetime analysis. ► Structural details were investigated by FTIR and FT-Raman analysis. ► Judd-Ofelt theory is used to calculate radiative and fluorescence properties. ► LCZSFB glasses have applications as green luminescent lasers and LEDS.
