Synthesis, structure and dielectric property of two H-bonded supramolecular compounds with 1-aminoadamantane based on 18-crown-6

► Two novel crown ether-based supramolecular structures have been synthesized. ► The rotator-stator assemblies were formed by the adamantan-1-aminium cations inserting into the crown ether rings. ► Different anions lead to large discrepancy in the H-bond network. ► Both compounds showed interesting dielectric properties.
