Macroscopic lateral correlations of the giant optical fluctuations under the quantum Hall effect conditions

►Macroscopic lateral correlations were revealed between 2D PL intensities in the giant noise regime. ► The system studied is either in high or low intensity state and graduates in a random manner. ► The average switching time values are anomalously high. ► We suppose that we deal with a coherent macroscopic state of 2D-electrons. ► At that, characteristic coherence length is of the order or one exceeds the sample size.
