Resonant tunneling in GaAs/AlxGa1−xAs superlattices with aperiodic potential profiles

► We model three superlattices which have different aperiodic structures. ► Short-range correlation in disorder allows having resonant tunnelling. ► High voltage bias does not promote resonant tunnelling. ► Aperiodic potential profiles allow having modular wavelengths.
