► Semi-planar hyperlens is designed to demagnify diffraction limited focus from far field. ► Optimization of the lens boundary structure delivers deep subwavelength resolution (∼λ/11). ► The lens works well for finite range of focus shift. ► Multiple focuses can be distinguished by a phase shift.
