Mechanical and magnetic properties of ZnO/Fe2O3 ceramic varistors

► We have shown two different regions for stress-strain curves. ► The compressive elastic modulus is improved with Fe addition. ► A linear decrease in VHN and surface energy with Fe is obtained. ► A transition from para-antif is recorded for all Fe samples. ► We did not find the saturation of magnetization curves.
