The 620 °C and 800 °C isothermal sections of the Zn–Fe–Cu ternary system were constructed based on Wave Dispersive X-ray Spectrometry (WDS) and X-ray power diffraction analysis (XRD). Four three-phase regions have been identified in the Zn–Fe–Cu ternary system at 620 °C, and three three-phase regions have been confirmed in the 800 °C isothermal section. All of the Fe solubility in η-Zn, β and (Cu) at 620 °C are lower than the solubility at 800 °C. The γ and Γ phases form a continuous solid solution at 620 °C, which is designated as the γ/Γ phase. Binary phases δFe and δCu extend into the ternary system at 620 °C, the three-phase triangle of (γ/Γ + δFe + δCu) is small and narrow.
