Microstructure characterization of rapidly solidified Al-Fe-Cr-Ce alloy by positron annihilation spectroscopy

▶ Dislocation walls and dislocation free areas were determined by PAS in RS Al alloy. ▶ PAS results agree with TEM observation and with data obtained by XRD diffraction. ▶ Recrystallization at 500 °C was detected by hardness measurement and also by PAS.
