Characterization of NiAl with cobalt produced by combustion synthesis

▶ In present study, the effect of Co addition to NiAl intermetallic was investigated. ▶ The hardness of NiAl specimen including 5 wt.% Co was improved approximately 15%. ▶ The presence of CoAl, NiAl. intermetallic were confirmed by XRD analysis.
