چکیده انگلیسی

The Mg2FeH6 hydrogen storage metal hydride was successfully prepared by controlled hydriding combustion synthesis (CHCS) in a single process from Mg and Fe elemental powders in a hydrogen atmosphere. Several factors including the magnetic intensity, the compression pressure and the mixing technique have an influence on the microstructure, phase composition and transformation morphology, which contributes strongly to the observed experimental results which show an improvement in the dehydrogenation properties. As a result, the 2Mg + Fe composite can desorb as much as 6.75 mass% within 1000 s due to the above synergy effect, especially the effect of a high magnetic field.
