Reconstructing the distribution and depositional history of the sedimentary deposits of Arabia Terra, Mars

► Sedimentary deposits across Arabia Terra were compared to those near Meridiani Planum. ► The original extent and volume of these deposits was estimated. ► The timing and rate of deposition was inferred from crater counting. ► The deposits were found to have been laid down and eroded between ∼3.83 and 3.56 Ga.
