Electron density anomalies associated with M≥5.9 earthquakes in Indonesia during 2005 observed by DEMETER

► Electron density anomalies associated with earthquakes is statistically analyzed. ► DEMETER satellite data is used to study the anomalies. ► Anomalies depend on the magnitude, depth and distance of the orbit from the epicenter. ► Increase of electron density occurs several days before and after the main shock.
