Effect of Cu or Co addition on β-FeSi2 growth by molten salt method

► Electrical control of β-FeSi2 has been successfully demonstrated by Co doping using molten salt method. ► Morphological modification of the crystal due to the impurity doping was also clarified. ► High seebeck coefficient of β-FeSi2, equivalent to that of its single crystal, was obtained.
