Effect of heat treatment temperature on superconducting performance of B4C added MgB2/Nb conductors

► Effect of heat treatment (HT) temperature (T) on 10 wt.% B4C doped MgB2/Nb wires. ► Amount of B4C increases with increasing HT T. ► Mg reacts with Nb sheath. ► Nb is unsuitable at high Ts. ► No effect on pinning mechanism by HT conditions.
