Comparative effect of 28 homobrassinolide and salicylic acid in the amelioration of NaCl stress in Brassica juncea L.

► We investigated the comparative effects of HBL and SA in alleviating the NaCl stress in the soil. ► NaCl stress (4.2 dsm−1) significantly decreased all the parameters more at 30 DAS than 45 DAS. ► Out of the two hormones, HBL excelled in its effects at both the sampling stages. ► Toxicity was completely overcome by the combination of two hormones at 45 DAS.
