Beta-eleostearic acid induce apoptosis in T24 human bladder cancer cells through reactive oxygen species (ROS)-mediated pathway

► Beta-eleostearic acid inhibited T24 cells growth and induced apoptosis. ► Beta-eleostearic acid induced generation of ROS accumulation in T24 cells. ► Beta-eleostearic acid increase expression of PPARγ in T24 cells. ► ROS induced by β-eleostearic acid treatment stimulated progress of apoptosis.
