Integrated refolding techniques for Schistosoma japonicum MTH1 overexpressed as inclusion bodies in Escherichia coli

► Integrated refolding techniques were used to recover MTH1 from inclusion bodies. ► A large amount of MTH1 was obtained for future biological and biophysical studies. ► The two-step-denaturing and refolding method obviously suppressed aggregation. ► The continuous dialysis method could produce more MTH1 monomer. ► MTH1 monomer was separated using Q column.
