The suppression of hematopoiesis function in Balb/c mice induced by prolonged exposure of microcystin-LR

► Balb/c mice were intraperitoneally injected with microcystin-LR for 30 d. ► We found that the hematopoiesis function was inhibited by MC-LR. ► The damages in bone marrow cells are responsible for this normocyte anemia.
