Particularités histo-radiologiques des cancers du sein de la femme âgée

The old woman is defined by an age equal or over 70 years old. The diagnosis of breast cancer in the elderly is often delayed. The breast cancer has no specific radiologic features. In mammography, the breast cancer is often a mass; calcifications are rare. The biologic features of breast cancer in the elderly are less agressive. Being of low grade and hormonosensible, the breast cancer of the elderly has often a good prognosis.
