After MRI, second look ultrasound visualizes approximately 60% of isolated breast enhancement, among which 50% are benign lesions. The probability of malignancy for enhancement detected on MRI is two times higher when found in the workup of a breast cancer. The correlation MRI-ultrasound must be accurate before performing biopsies; otherwise or in case of negative ultrasound, the percutaneous or surgical biopsies must be guided by MRI or CT.
