Découverte d'une encéphalite limbique à anticorps anti-VGKC lors d'une consultation mémoire

The limbic encephalitis, characterized by memory loss, psychiatric changes and seizures, is often related to antineuronal antibodies. Anti-voltage-gated potassium channel (VGKC) antibodies have recently been reported in many studies. We describe the case of a patient with typical VGKC antibody associated limbic encephalitis who stabilized and improved with immunotherapy. This limbic encephalitis has quite the same characteristics as the other limbic encephalitis except for some specificities and its good prognosis. It is one of the diagnoses to suggest facing patients with subacute memory loss even if they are more than 60 years old.
