Analisi al SEM delle interferenze tra bleaching ed etching dello smalto

Analysis of 48 SEM photographs revealed micromorphological differences between SNS and SS specimens. In most cases (9 of the 12 specimens examined), there were no micromorphological differences between SM and SSM. However, in the other 3 (25%) cases, the difference between SM and SSM was remarkable. We can therefore hypothesize that it is the actual composition of the natural hydroxyapatite in each element that determines the final response to consecutive applications of peroxide and orthophosphoric acid.
