On the basis of our clinical experience, which includes six years of follow-up, we feel that the use of these new composite materials, in association with multidirectional fibers, is a valid approach for the realization of metal-free crowns and relatively short-span partial fixed prostheses, and it could represent an alternative to the use of traditional metal ceramic prostheses.
