L’uso delle tecniche adesive, del build-up del moncone con materiali compositi e della cementazione adesiva di corone in ceramiche mordenzabili permette un notevole risparmio di tessuti duri dentali e un’estetica eccellente a medio e a lungo termine.Risultati e conclusioniI restauri parziali adesivi rappresentano, in termini estetici, funzionali e conservativi, la migliore soluzione per la riabilitazione dei denti anteriori trattati endodonticamente. Laddove sia possibile, è preferibile l’utilizzo di tecniche dirette perché è dimostrato che sono più conservative. I restauri parziali indiretti restano la migliore soluzione estetica a lungo termine.

SummaryObjectivesThe endodontically treated anterior tooth has to be restored both from a functional and aesthetic point of view.Materials and methodsThe use of metal posts, ceramic bonded crowns and amalgam as a core build-up allows for a functional restoration of a tooth, with some mid and long term inconveniences, but not always with a good aesthetic outcome. The use of adhesive techniques, composite core build-ups and adhesive cementation of etchable porcelain crowns allows to spare considerable tooth structure achieving an excellent mid and long term aesthetic result.Results and conclusionsPartial adhesive restorations represent the best solution for the rehabilitation of endodontically treated anterior teeth in aesthetic, functional and conservative terms. When possible, direct restorations should be applied since it has been demonstrated that these are more conservative techniques. Indirect partial restoration is the best aesthetic long-term solution.
