The New Patient Process

This paper addresses some of the important issues relating to the management of new and potentially new patients in an orthodontic practice. It stresses the importance of initial contacts with the patient emphasizing the initial telephone contact and how this should be managed. It also addresses numerous important issues related to practice quality, staff responsibilities, patient and parent comfort, addressing the needs of the patient as well as effective fee presentations.
