RésuméL’excès cutanéo-graisseux sous-mental est fréquent avec l’âge. Véritable jabot cutané dans les formes prononcées, celui-ci peut être assez mal vécu par les patients, les poussant à consulter. La proposition d’un lifting cervicofacial conventionnel n’est pas toujours adaptée, ni acceptée par une population de patients à prédominance masculine. C’est pourquoi un lifting cervical médian par voie antérieure comportant une exérèse elliptique de l’excès cutané et une platysmaplastie médiane va constituer une alternative intéressante. Les auteurs proposent une nouvelle description de cette technique en la simplifiant par rapport aux techniques précédemment rapportées. Deux cas cliniques sont exposés avec les deux principaux types d’incisions que nous pratiquons. Cette intervention est réalisée sous anesthésie locale. Les résultats obtenus par cette technique ont été jugés bons à excellents par l’ensemble des patients que nous avons pris en charge. La rançon cicatricielle qui pourrait sembler importante et parfois inacceptable pour certains chirurgiens, demeure en réalité très discrète. The authors offer a new description of this technique by simplifying, compared to the previously described techniques. Two clinical cases are reported, with both types of recommended incisions. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The results obtained by this technique were considered good to excellent by all operated patients in our unit. The final scar that may appear significant and sometimes unacceptable for some surgeons remains in fact very inconspicuous. The anterior medial cervicoplasty is an easy technique that allows responding gracefully to a frequent request, with good cosmetic results and few complications.
