Our study underlines differences in distribution of ependymal tumours characteristics by age and by gender in paediatric series. Insights from population-based incidence and survival analyses affords an opportunity to better understand the impact of site and histology patterns on outcomes associated with childhood ependymal tumours and inform future research.
