Monitoring the susceptibility to oseltamivir of Influenza A(H1N1) 2009 virus by nested-PCR and pyrosequencing during the pandemic and in the season 2010-2011

► Pyrosequencing was used for oseltamivir resistance detection. ► Before pyrosequencing analysis a nested PCR was performed. ► Pyrosequencing can reveal resistant and sensitive variants in the same sample. ► Also samples with very low viral load can be analyzed by this pyrosequencing assay.
