Palliative radiotherapy in patients with esophageal carcinoma: A retrospective review

Despite a lack of randomized comparison to other modalities, external beam radiotherapy remains an effective, noninvasive, and generally well-tolerated means to palliate dysphagia in selected patients with incurable esophageal carcinoma.
