The development of oncology treatment guidelines: an analysis of the National Guidelines Clearinghouse

The majority of oncology-related treatment guidelines registered at the National Guidelines Clearinghouse satisfy most of the criteria for sound guideline development. Significant differences in these criteria were observed according to the coordinating organization that developed the guideline.
