Pineal yolk sac tumour presenting with symptoms of raised intracranial pressure and Parinaud's syndrome

We present a case of a 19-year-old male, presenting with progressive persistent non-vertiginous headaches and vomiting, as well as progressively worsening diplopia. He was investigated with a CT scan and an MRI of the brain which revealed a pineal yolk sac tumour, associated with hydrocephalus and compression on the midbrain. We discuss the clinical presentation, radiological and biochemical features leading to the diagnosis of this rare tumour.
