Adsorption of an azo dye in an aqueous solution using hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB)

► For the first time, HTPB was used as an adsorbent of the dyes in the solutions. ► Decolorization process was evaluated in homogeneous and heterogeneous systems. ► Effect of key operating parameters such as temperature and pH was studied. ► Characterization of the adsorbent was carried out using analytical methods.
