The evaluation of stability during the composting of different starting materials: Comparison of chemical and biological parameters

► Three composting blends were formed by mixing waste water sewage sludge and food processing waste with a bulking agent. ► The stabilization level during composting was followed by means of the study of chemical parameters and the respiration rate. ► We believe this work represents a system-model to prove the efficiency of the estimations over time of the stability of composts measured by respiration test.
