Estimating infectivity rates and attack windows for two viruses

► We model the infection of two viruses on cells exposed to both viruses. ► We estimate and compare the infectivity rates of each virus. ► We illustrate the maximum likelihood estimation of model parameters. ► Simulated data show that our estimates are unbiased with small standard deviations.
