► We find all existing patterns for the four-allele population genetics selection model. ► We count the signs of eigenvalues of the Jacobian matrix evaluated at existing equilibria. ► We describe the domains of attraction of coexisting asymptotically stable equilibria. ► We use computer simulations to find existing patterns.
