Taxonomic study of the genus Epicrocis Zeller (Lepidoptera, Pyralidae, Phycitinae) in Cambodia, with description of a new species

• A new species of the genus Epicrocis Zeller, 1848, E. pramaoyensis sp. n. is described from Cambodia.
• E. hilarella (Ragonot, 1888) and E. oegnusalis (Walker, 1859) are newly reported to the fauna of Cambodia.
• The redescription of E. hilarella (Ragonot, 1888) and E. oegnusalis (Walker, 1859) is provided.
• Key to the Cambodian species of the genus Epicrocis is provided.

The species of the genus Epicrocis Zeller, 1848 are revised from Cambodia in the present study. Among them, E. pramaoyensis Bae & Qi sp. n. is described as new to science, E. hilarella (Ragonot, 1888) and E. oegnusalis (Walker, 1859) are newly recorded from Cambodia. A key to the Cambodian species of the genus Epicrocis with illustrations of adults and genitalia are presented.
