Fluid circulation and formation of minerals and bitumens in the sedimentary rocks of the Outer Carpathians - Based on studies on the quartz-calcite-organic matter association

► Minerals and/or solid bitumens in three adjacent Carpathian regions are examined. ► Changes in isotopic values in calcite, quartz and bitumens are checked. ► Different geochemical features and parameters in minerals and bitumens-examined. ► Conclusions on fluid character, circulation and sequence of minerals are drawn. ► Conditions of mineral and bitumen formation are presented.
