The neuroprotective effects of caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) in the hippocampal formation of cigarette smoke exposed rabbits

These findings suggest that cigarette smoking induces apoptosis in the hippocampal formation of rabbits and CAPE has a protective role against this induction.
