Redox-based chemiluminescence assay of aminothiols in human urine: A fundamental study

A Michael addition based chemiluminescence (CL) assay was developed for the first time to detect aminothiols in human urine. The method exploits quinone as a promising CL-probe to react rapidly and selectively with aminothiols in buffered-media at room temperature.160
