Cu(II) and Ni(II) 4-cyanobenzoate complexes with nicotinamide: Synthesis, spectral, structural and optical characterization and thermal behavior

Cu-, Ni-metal organic complexes have been synthesized and the structures were identified by taking elemental analysis, TG-DTA and FT-IR, single crystal X-ray methods. The optical characterization of synthesized complexes is performed. These complexes are indicating that are good candidates for optical filter in the ultraviolet region.306
