High concentrations of aromatic acylated anthocyanins found in cauline hairs in Plectranthus ciliatus

Four main aromatic acylated anthocyanins, three of which without previous documentation in any plant, were identified in extremely high amounts (101 mg g−1 DW) in cauline hairs of purple-leaved plectranthus (Plectranthus ciliatus, Lamiaceae).
