Sylvatiins, acetylglucosylated hydrolysable tannins from the petals of Geranium sylvaticum show co-pigment effect

Four tannins that contain an acetylglucose attached to the galloyl glucoses or chebulinic acid were isolated and this group was named sylvatiins. Compounds showed co-pigmentation effect with petal anthocyanins.
