Metabolic profiling of Commiphora wightii (guggul) reveals a potential source for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals

One hundred and eighteen primary and secondary metabolites from C. wightii were identified. The results of the present study suggest that specific plant parts can be used to obtain substantial amounts of bioactive ingredients for use as potential pharmacological, nutraceuticals, insecticidal and allelochemical properties.
