The effect of manuring on cereal and pulse amino acid δ15N values

Amino acid δ15N values of barley and bread wheat grains and rachis and pulse seeds were determined by GC-C-IRMS. It was found that manuring results in a consistent 15N-enrichment of cereal grain and rachis amino acid δ15N values but no increase in the amino acid δ15N values of pulse seeds.
